Networks

IFI’s Network Invitations are specific questions, ideas, and situations that we are pitching to you as a potential contributor. We are looking for original work that will add significantly to each inquiry. IFI recognizes that in order to understand the changes occurring in physical, biological, and cultural life, intellectual and artistic rigor is not only needed but likely to come from people and places not typically found in the news.

Network Invitations are located within each Inquiry page: Context, Questions, Research, People/Places, and Creative Works.

Potential Network Contributors:

Students direct your school projects, papers, or research to questions posed at IFI and contribute to global news inquiries while receiving academic credit or building resumes.

Educators & Academics customize your classroom projects, professional listserv discussions, workshops, or conference panels to address questions posed at IFI and contribute to global news inquiries while advancing pedagogy, research, or scholarship.

Professionals submit research or findings and contribute to global news inquiries while quickening institutional responses.

Artists & Intellectuals submit photography, essays, fiction, poetry, music, or digital film and contribute to global news inquiries while developing works of beauty, wit, and intuitive intelligence.

Social networks such as Facebook or MySpace, add "IFI participant" to your profile, create groups, post links and downloads from instituteforinquiry.org and contribute to public discourse by making it public—spreading the word, getting others involved).
